Walter E. Shannon is a litigation and transactional attorney with over 27 years of practice experience. He regularly handles matters that concern creditor rights and collection law, family law, business law, non-profit organizations law, real estate law, and estate planning/ probate matters. Derek Allen works with the firm’s clients, which range from established companies to individuals, to navigate the assorted legal issues they face. For individuals, he primarily works with clients who are going through divorce or child custody cases. For businesses, he has familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act, corporate governance issues, non-compete agreements, and contract disputes.
As an Evansville native, he is committed to providing the best possible legal representation to the residents of southern Wisconsin. Before joining Shannon Law Office, Derek practiced in Minneapolis with the litigation group at one of the premier law firms in the Midwest.
Rhonda Crans has over 33 years of experience as a paralegal. She has extensive experience in all areas of civil practice, including business law and transactions, real estate, probate, tax preparation, and estate planning matters. She specializes in foreclosure/replevin collection, small claims, landlord-tenant rights, and probate matters.
A lifelong resident of the Evansville area, Rhonda and her husband, Jim, enjoy spending time with their children and precious grandchildren. She also enjoys music, sports, and traveling to warm places.
Mary Catherine “Cathy” Rooney is the Firm’s Office Manager. She is instrumental in the operation of the office and offers that first smile and warm reception to our clients.
A Janesville native, Cathy has lived and worked in the Evansville area since 1993. Cathy and her husband, Tim, have many artistic talents and interests and enjoy spending time with their two sons.
